Double dovetail bases?
« on: October 23, 2003, 09:48:04 AM »
Well, I bought a Browning A-bolt II, blued with synthetic stock in 7MM-08 today. I looked at several different guns but wanted a 7MM-08 that was light and not shiny so the Browning fit the bill. I looked at the Vanguard and Remington but the Browning seemed to fit my style of hunting better. I hunt very steep land and weight is a concern  . I am going to put a Burris fullfield II 3-9X40 on her. I have the Burris double dovetail signature rings and will need the bases. On this set up, do you think I will need the reversible mounts, or would the standard work best. Thanks Don

Don,

Regular Double Dovetail should work fine with your set up.
