Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with  Weaver Side Mount's on  Mil-Surp Mausers?

see no reason why it wouldn't work. might be a little tricky findin' one that fits between receiver ring and bolt lock lever. scope may hang a little to the left which would be ok as long as you're right-handed. on some actions you may hafta grind a small place through the surface hardness so you can drill the screw holes. That is exactly what I had put on my British .303.You can get them to fit almost any model of rifle.
