Went looking at new trucks this year.  Problem is that I have to have a winch and there is no easy to mount one on most new pickups.   My truck is a 1994 Toyota four banger bought used in 1995.  It only has 152,000 miles on it and I'll keep it for a few more years at least.  I have the entire drive train and the electronics from a a low mileage SS 454 pickup.  One of these days it will go into a nice low mileage 70s GM pickup:  When I can find one.

Al
Maybe I don't understand your comment about winches.
I see them on pickup a lot---Saw a new Ford the other day with the bump gate guard and a winch.
