Knight KP-1 45-70
« on: December 21, 2009, 03:41:45 AM »
I know there have been a couple of threads on this already, but they seem to be older.  Any kind of update from those who have used them recently.  The cost at Bud's (last price) is $312, so it is competitive.  Has it turned out to be better than the other single shots like the Handi and the Encore?  Any accuracy reports?

Well, apparently this may be a big Nevermind!  I just read on another forum that Knight is or has closed its rifle manufacturing facility.  Shame, really.

Knight ceased production, but they're still alive and well in providing customer service, parts and accessories. There's more on the KP-1 in the Knight firearms forum here at GBO.

I have a KP1 in 45-70 and it shoots as good as my highwall which I though shot good .  I have shot two one hole 3 shot groups at 100yd with 300 gr serria running 2200 fps.  I have taken one deer so far this year with it , at 130 yd.
