I picked up a few Predator Calls

Well I was at the sporting goods store and picked up a couple calls to try as I already had the Coyote Dog Howler.

Saturday was sort of a pre storm day with snow finally moving in, and everyone told me that keep trying because the weather will cause them to hold down until after the snow stops and they come out hungry.

My review of the Coyote Hooker is that it does not produce enough sound as indicated on the package.  I will keep trying this call just to see if in fact it does work.  The other calls produce a good quality distress sound, that should make any coyote come into the call.

Time will tell.

When I practice with mine in the house the dogs and my wife look at me kinda funny. It gets their attention. Been rainy and damp here, can't wait for a good freeze. Good Luck!

Try to find some that include an instructional DVD with their product, Primos has em, but Johnny Stewart calls are easy to work with.  I have several guy's over on Predator Masters that actually make good calls.  But its a money issue right now for me, as it is with a lot of guys that have been hit with economic issues.

I got a nice little bonus from my boss, that allowed me to just get some nice snow camo on sale at 40% the lowest price marked. 
Well I headed down to my local Kings Camo dealer, and everything marked was an additional 40% off the lowest sale price. So I grabbed the last pair of King bottoms in 2x to go as outters for my heavy snow/cold pants, as these will go over my heavy OD green mil surp pocket pants with the winter down liner. Then I found a Kings hood for my head, and a snow camo upper of polar fleece that will go over my cold weather down jacket.

I also had to pick up a Pedator Madness 3 for when I'm stuck at the house here.

All in all I spent about $58.00 and change.

It's Turkey calls for me. I have until around the end of May to learn how to use them, Well, that is if I draw a tag for the Spring Turkey season. Wish we could use electronic Turkey calls in Wisconsin because I'll probably scare those old Toms with the box and mouth calls. Good luck, right?
