I have always been of the opinion that the toughest football is played in the SEC, but I think Bama will fall on its butt when they face Texas.  Texas has a much stronger defense and Colt McCoy is the “real McCoy” he can get the job done!!!!! 8) 8) 8)

Texas just squeaked one out against Nebraska, but Nebraska is no push over, it wasn’t expected to be a run away.  Alabama also had a couple of squeakers, and lost one to overwhelmingly to Georgia. :-*

I think the championship game will be a good game with Texas riding the surf  on the crimson tide……………..Hook-em-horns!

(I watched McElroy as a high school player at East Lake Carroll, he is also a quality TEXAS product and was imported from Texas to improve  the quality of Bama players!) ::) ::) ::)

Now my favorite game was when LSU won the national championship a few years ago! Billy Cannon was the white boy in the backfield, who could out run a deer if you put enough money on the table. Now today, I have never seen a better running back on the football field in the SEC, maybe a couple almost as good.

Tonk,

I remember Billy Cannon playing for the Raiders back in the 60s. Al Davis had him converted to a wide receiver. Also remember him playing in Super Bowl II against the Packers. I guess he later went on to become a Dentist. I heard he also got into a little trouble with the law for counterfeiting or something like that. He was one of the greats on the football field.
