Henry Fat-Boy Rifle, 8.68 pounds, what is it - Brassheavy receiver?

I see Henry’s catalog weight for Big Boys (38, 44 and 45LC) at a hefty 8.68 pounds .

Whereas Miroku/USRAC/Win 92 (w/takedown), Marlin 94CB and Brazi 92 repros are 6.5 pounds.
Puma 92 lists 6.6 pounds and Armi Sport 6.7 pounds in comparable 20-inch octagon barrels.

So where and how does Henry sqeeze-in that extra two (2) pounds, (or +30%) ?

Perhaps they might use a leaded yellow brass, [unlike Brasslite on Golden Boy 22's].

I believe the extra weight is in the barrel. They seem to be "thicker" than some other octagone barrels. I will say one thing though, they are shooters and a pleasure to shoot. I hunt with my .44 mag every year and the weight doesn't seem to be an issue.
