Just a Pic I Snapped Last Week

I like this picture.  Deer tend to bed on this hillside.  If the wind is right they will hold pretty tight apparently thinking that you can't see them.

They can read a calendar and KNOW when it IS and ISN'T hunting season.  Real cool picture.  Good deer.  Nice opportunity.

Man-o-Man-o-Man...what's that white stuff all over the ground?

Those does sure have woolly coats.  Must be descended from some pre-Cambrian Era offshoot quirk of Nature pairing a whitetail buck and Mastodon female...or would that be a Mammoth male and Whitetail doe.  Hmmmmmmm.....not going to think on that much more I can tell you!   :o

Last spring while during turkey season I would see a doe in the same spot in the morning.She would be there most of the morning.It was a pretty good vantange point.You could walk or drive by her at 75 yards and didn't care.She probally hung out there for a few months.
