No and never will. If hunting there is only one place for the gun and that is in your hand. If not hunting then a regular sling over the shoulder is all that's needed.

GB,
 While I appreciate the editorial,
I am asking for information from those that have used either product and can provide a product review.

I see very practical use ,
When in very steep terrain where you need both hands free due to loose rock , I can see where the Gunslinger can come in handy or when When climbing. Back packing in with full pack - I can see where the GunBearer could be useful
and help reduce sling fatigue.

I finally did manage to find one review for the GunBearer and a pic of it being used in the field . Doesnt look like trekking poles get in the way either.

You asked had anyone used them. I answered your question. If you don't like getting answers don't ask questions. Don't get huffy with me when I post to a site I founded and pay full cost of out of my pocket.

Not sure where your getting the huffy part from.
I said I appreciated the editorial. However since you haven't used them you are unable to provide a product review , which is what I;m looking for. I understand it doenst meet your needs , but they may mine , and I'm looking for responses from those that may have used the product and can provide insight.

Scootrd,

I have not used one of the two you provided links for, however, I can see good possibilities for such a product.

I have used a product, which would not probably fill your completely hands free needs, and find it works very well.

Back a number of years I started having problems carring a rifle by hand.  My arms would ache and go to sleep, in short it just wasn't working.

Living here in Ideeeeeeeeeho, where the cover many times requires quick response I tried to down size weight wise and found that less then a good answer.

What I did find, was the Boonie sling which allows for an across chest carry of the firearm, with the weight supported by a wide strap over the shoulder.

Calela's sells them, but not sure that the Boonie name is correct any more.

The rifle is instantly ready to be brought into firing position, while taking the strain off the arms and shoulders.

Because of this sling, rifle weight is no longer a problem.

When I hunted in an area that was best hunted with a pack frame carried in with you, my rifle always needed to be carried by hand.  Given my present shoulder/arm situation, something like you list would be my only way to continue hunting that type of country.

Personally, provided the rifle is secure, the chest carry style looks the best.

Keep em coming!

My legs are getting weaker as my diabetes progresses.  Carrying a walking stick helps me tremendously when crossing wet levees and slogging through the marsh.  Crossing downed logs is embarrassing.  I refuse to let my sons carry my rifle while I use a walking stick.

The Gunslinger Corral rig is exactly what I need!  I already have a chest-carry rig for my Redhawk from 7Xleather that keeps my .44 handy and out of the way.  This combo will be perfect.  Thanks for the link Scootrd.
