No, I think that’s enough Myronman. You've abused this thread and the issue surrounding this vet enough to your own self centered satisfaction. Keeping focus on the facts that we do know and making reasonable assumptions about the guy is one thing, speculating that he's some low life that has used his military decoration as a crutch and a means to screw people over is all I can stand of you. Treating decorated military veterans as cheap political footballs is disgraceful of you.

hilarious.  now i am the one $#!!*** on a military veteran.    um, as i recall and re-read it, i was one of the first (if not the first) to say people against the man should be drug into the street and beaten.  but you know that.    even a someone that is "all hat" can see that.
comm'n, dont quit that easy.   i know you have more hate and anger to vent here.   more lies, twisted mis-quotes, and other various forms of dishonesty you practice in.   don't quit......

Myronman,

Yes you did say people who speak against this man should be drug into the street and beaten. No place in any one of my threads did I ever disagree with you on this nor did I ever deny you said this...So...what’s your point?? Just because you said this does not mean your other comments that represent this vet to be a low life are not true. Face it, you took it upon yourself to aledge, without any facts to support it, that this vet was using his military decoration as a trump-card to seek exception from anything..... My point was that there is nothing to suggest he's doing that. In fact I said no one knows he's doing this....

Like I said Myronman, your just fixated on trying to create conflict by conjuring up scenarios that never happened. Your fantasies are boiling over to your keyboard. Slow down, try thinking, reading and then type.

It amazes me how people love to completly mislead everyone on the issue at hand with this case. There is NO by-law that says he can't fly an American flag. The only by-law that's being violated is the vertical fixed flag pole cemented in his front yard. Many people in this guys neighborhood fly an American flag. They just simply have a flag pole mount affixed to the front of thier house which is acceptabel under the by-laws.

I don't know who you are speaking of . I said flying the flag as it SHOULD BE FLOWN.  ei not like a winnie the poo flag hanging off your garage, but i forgot
some folks love the by-laws
You don't have to love the by-laws but you better be willing to read them before you buy the house and you better be willing to live with them if you sign off on them! Otherwise, don't buy the damn house to begin with. This crape about buying the house when the by-law was already in place is allot of whining as I see it. It shows a lack of responsibility to live up to your end of the deal. While I get the point here, I simply don’t have much sympathy for this vet in this circumstance. He agreed to live under the by-laws. So…this is his bed.

Seems pretty clear where you stand, a HONORED VET has no right other than to fight and die for you then get in line.

Of course that's a reasonable conclusion to draw. My opinion is that if your an honored vet, you instantly loose ALL your Rights. As a matter of fact, I beleive that if you fight for our country, immediatly upon return, you should be thrown in jail for a life sentance in solitary confinment and fed only bread and water. Yes, this is clearly a conclusion that you can draw from what I wrote. ::) ::) ::)

Maybe this is what folks are thinking about, how you feel about Vets in general
I have read post of yours before that you their is no way you would go in the military and defend this country

that is the thing about those "neverwas-es";  they are really good about taking, not too good when it comes to giving.   they are the first to complain, the last to ever offer a solution. they enjoy their freedom provided to them by veterans, but are the first to attack and demean other's experiences and service without a seconds hesitation.     they are problem seekers, not problems solvers.    you can sum it all up by just saying that people like c4 are all about the "me, me, I, I, gimme, gimme, gimme; what can i screw someone else out of for my benefit" type mindset.

Rex,

This is just a ridiculous post and you know it. Your taking sarcasm (noted with the rolling eyes) and reentering here as facts of my opinion.

On the second point about defending this country, how you could ever clean that from what I wrote here is amazing. You and Myronman should consider a marriage. You and he are beyond fantasizing, your hallucinating.

However, would I want to go to Iraq or Afgan, heck no way. Those are “just wars” only for fools. Would I fight for our country against an invading army, yes. The two are not equivalent and only fools like myronman put them in the same category. But when you live under a rock like he does, it’s hard for him to think rationally about much of anything. So I’m somewhat sympathetic to his short comings.

I'm just the first to complain about you, is that what you really mean to say?

I told you myronman, your service to this country can't hold a candle to this guy. So mentiong your service time in the stockade and comparing yourself to this vets decorated service is pethetic. Whats next? comparing your charity to Mother Teresa?

you are sooooo obsessed with my service,  where is your service record???  i know, just another stinking never was.      ;D      it must really suck to have to admit (or in your case-dance around) that you are filled with such envy.  and i know that you dont openly admit it, but i know by the fire in your posts you secretly do envy us guys who had enough guts to do what you are too chicken to do.   but dont worry, us veterans are used to pulling other's share of the load.     you are nothing more than a finger pointing, no-service-record-having, loudmouth, know-nothing, coward.  yup, a coward.   and i still think you are funny.   flannel mouths like you never cease to entertain me.   so please, enlighten us with more of your word twisting, hate, and venom.   i need a good laugh after the day i had today.   and there is nothing funnier than listening to your blathering.     :D :D :D :-*

C4: Myronman, I'm not obsessed with your service. But I do think you should stop comparing your service to the highly decorated veteran in this case. As I said earlier, you can't hold a candle to this vet, neither can I, nor most Americans.
and i know that you dont openly admit it, but i know by the fire in your posts you secretly do envy us guys who had enough guts to do what you are too chicken to do.   but dont worry, us veterans are used to pulling other's share of the load.

C4: Myronman, Just to make sure I fully understand your point, anyone who has never served in the military is just a "Chicken" and they don't "pull thier load". Considering that military service folks represent a small percent of our population, thats a very condeming attitude for you to take. Not sure I understand why non-militry people anger you so much. But this is not a good trait or position for you to exose here. There are plenty of folks here who have never served.
you are nothing more than a finger pointing, no-service-record-having, loudmouth, know-nothing, coward.  yup, a coward.   and i still think you are funny.   flannel mouths like you never cease to entertain me.   so please, enlighten us with more of your word twisting, hate, and venom.

C4: This goes to highlight just one of the your significant and constant contradictions. Your bad mouthing me while accusing me of being filled with hate, venom and a flannel mouth! I feel fine about my place in this world. I'm perfectly fine with what I have accomplished overall. I would suggest that their appears to be some pent up anger you have that appears to be boiling over. I have read that often, people when confronted with someone who amplifies their shortcomings can spark the type of responses we are seeing from you. I think you should consider that your constant comparisons to this highly decorated military vet and your admitted poor self assessment of your military service is ingnighting this spark for you. My recommendation for you is to stop focusing on comparing your service to this vet. It’s strictly a losing proposition for you[/size]

I hope you find this information helpfull in dealing with your internal struggles.
