My first experience with treestands was a friends two person ladder stand last weekend. I don't like heights, but enjoyed the visibility that it afforded. Does anyone have any experience with the Rivers Edge 17-ft. Woodsman™ XL Extreme Ladder Stand? It's getting high marks at Cabelas.com, but I would feel more comfortable hearing from someone with first hand experience.
Also any recommendations for this type of stand that I should be looking at?
