outdoorsmans Christmas tree decoration Ideas
« on: December 14, 2009, 08:47:56 AM »
I get to decorate the tree this year.
I was wondering if any of you have any ideas or know of a website with pictures of how to decorate it.

I'm going to put antlers, brass & shotgun shell caseings & a wide veriety of old & new lures with a few outdoor ornaments... if I can find any.
Any ideas?

Well, you could put a little tree stand in it with a little Santa holding a rifle or bow. That'd be cool. Of course, then you've got the reindeer connection, which might seem a little insensitive. Maybe just a non-Santa hunter instead, eh?

Cabela's and likely Bass Pro Shops as well sell lights made to look like shotgun shells around CHRISTmas time each year I think. They also carry ornaments with an outdoor/hunting/fishing theme. I've seen both hunting and fishing type decorations in their catalog.
