It is still $2.60 or so here. Scottdale Pa about 50 miles south east of Pittsburgh. It still costs over $80.00 to fill my truck up. Dale

About $2.50 here in SC.  After Christmas I'd expect some further decline since people travel less in the winter, but I'm sure it'll be back up to $3.00 or more once summer time gets here again.  My little car gets 34 MPG but the gas pump still stings pretty bad.  At one point I actually considered buying one of the cheaper motorcycles (Yamaha Virago or something similar - about in the $3,000 price range) since they'll often get 60-70 MPG.  Certainly not something to drive everyday (I gotta buy groceries and such sometimes) but if gas prices keep going the way they are I might break even pretty soon driving that 3-4 days out of the week :).

I topped off my tank today and was surprised when it only took $20 to do it. I honestly didn't pay attention to the cost per gallon. I knew I was gonna buy it and that's the station I most often buy at so the price was really not a consideration to me. I really didn't even pay that close attention to how much I put in but it was somewhere beteen 8 and 9 gallons I think, for sure not 10 gallons so perhaps it's down here as well.

$2.81 around here. The indian reservation sells it for $2.68. I usually say to hell with the state of NY and go to the reservation.

I never thought of that.  Since technically they have their own laws they could indeed remove the tax.  Shame there's no reservations (that I know of) in SC.  There's some in NC but I don't think a 2-3 hour drive to save money on gas will work out too well :).

I get a bargain at 3.07 on base; its over 3.30 off base around here. But its been holding steady for 2 mos, whereas before it would rise a couple cents very couple of days.
