CVA Springfield Hawken? Don't remember that one from CVA.
Could it be a Traditions Springfield Hawken, or maybe a CVA St. Louis Hawken?

Why do you need a new barrel?

Why do you need a new barrel?
Long story short. It had been shot 3 times that day (shot a deer, finish shot, unload later that day) When I got home found out we had a family emergency and left. Returned home 4 or 5 days later just done a quick clean and put it away. the next year I had hang fires and lost accuracy so I put it up and bought a USH 12ga. It has set for 5 years now. I figure if a new barrel is reasonable $ I'd like to get it shotting again.
