CVA help
« on: January 10, 2010, 06:40:51 AM »
Hi guys.  I have developed an interest in the CVA muzzle loader/centerfire rifles. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find anyone in Southeastern PA, northern DE or south Jersey that have any. The company says they ship to distributers and know not where they go afterwards. I've tried calling many "dealers" that do not have them in stock or know when they would be able to order them. I have also e-mailed CVA with questions but do not get any response.  What's the deal? How can I decide to buy one or another brand without seeing them or getting info to make an informed decision?

Here's what I'm thinking and want to know.  I'm looking to get a 50 cal muzzleloader and a 223 centerfire barrel combo. Do they come in combos or do I buy them separately?  What are my 223 options as far as bbl length? Do APEX bbls interchange with the Optima elites? Finally does anyone know where in my area I might find the CVA products to atleast look at?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks,  Ralph.

the apex barrels will not fit the optima elite.

www.budsgunshop.com  may have barrels.  Also gunbroker.com has a ton of barrels for the optima elite.
