Rossi Youth 20ga sins again
« on: December 12, 2009, 03:45:31 PM »
Paid 199.00 for the youth "Triffecta" with the HEAVY 20ga slug barrel 2 years ago.
This thing is a tack driver, I am getting ~2" at 100 yards, and it has a very light kick.

Anyhow, took another today with it, 70 yards snap shot as she crossed a firing lane  in the woods.

Don't you love it when you can kill them just as dead as the guy with a $1,500 rifle? Good job!!

Thanks guys,
This has become my gun of choice, over my 2) mossberg 500's and My Rem 1100 SPS deer gun,
Something simple and direct about this gun, also confidence, after putting the 4X fixed scope on it, every time I take it to the range, it is DEAD on.
I am shooting Lightfield 2-3/4's out of it.

Thats what I'm shooting in my TrackerII 20ga. I had a scope rail installed put a Tru Glo 2X red dot and I'm shooting 3 hole touching. The first time I shot it I couldn't believe how light the rcoil was. I was amazed.

Huh.... a fawn. :-\
They're probably pretty tender right after weaning. ::)

Not a fawn, but it does look like it in that picture, she was "just under" 100#
here's a picture that shows the size better.
