Been a while since I've been by! Between catching up on work and dealing with a sick baby half the week, I've been busting my butt trying to finish up all my outstanding projects. Most are medieval types. Here's the latest rondel dagger.

Blade: ~11" long, ~1/4" thick along spine at base, single edged, 5160 steel
Handle: aged calf humerus
Fittings: very coarse wrought iron, etched

Huh, I replied the other day; guess it didn't take.  Rondel's my favorite dagger of any shape and that one is beautifully done.  They were/are deadly looking weapons.

Something about these and Viking blades that always bring a smile when I hold one...and I have to resist the temptation to drive a customer's order through a steel drum. ;)
