Anybody have a Ruger M77 mkII in 6.5 X 55?
« on: December 21, 2002, 12:14:33 PM »
I am wanting a modern bolt action 6.5 x 55.  Ruger has one in their M77 mkII, and Tikka makes one, although no one around here seems to have one.  I have a Tikka in .22-250 and it's a sweet rifle, but it would be spendy for the laminate stainless job.

Anyway, if anyone has a ruger or shot one, tell me what you think.

Tom

Tom-

I ordered one almost two weeks ago (I'll be picking it up on Monday) and I plan on working with it this Winter and Spring.  Davidson's has approximately 40 or so of the M-77 6.5 x 55 in last years limited edition with the old style Rynite synthetic stock that are new in the box.  I'll update this thread with more info once I've had a chance to spend an afternoon at the range.
