Another training video being used here in the USA by Muslim groups that claim they are the majority in this country now.

what are you talking about billy? you know the holocaust was started to stop the jews from decapitating people in germany.. it wasn't about money or race but decapitation security. why do you think europe just twiddled it's thumbs till hitler went after everyone else? because they were afraid of the jewish, head-hunter, boogeymen.

on a real level, I watched a video (propaganda on a big screen in the service, uncensored and vile to get us fighting mad) of a guy getting his head cut off rather slowly while he was screaming and crying. Yea I saw that same video a couple years back. They got guys standing there with AK'S while one person reads his charges in Arabic. When the guy is finished reading they slowly hack his head off with nothing more than a dull knife. The whole time he is screaming through his throat.

I think his name was Nick Burg. Every American should have to watch this video at least once to see what these people are really like. Dale

There's a few other similar videos out there that go back to the 90s. Evidently there's a market in Central Asia and the Middle East for snuff films where they kidnap a eurotrash hiker, abuse her in every way imagineable then usually decapitate her. When I worked in overseas missions we tried to be mindful of the risks.

the mans name was nick berg i believe. now we have seen that they plan to release a video of a captured us soldier. god only knows if it will be another beheading film.

thats why i posted about it. that man will or probably already has sufferd not telling what. they will either have him to the point he will be forced to denounce the us on that film or die. they may just kill him anyway.

regardless it does not take much imagination to understand what he is going through. my prayers are with him and if he is to die i wish him a speedy and quick death. i know that sounds bad but i feel that way.

I agree. I would much rather have my head wacked off with one swift blow of a sharp sword than to go through what nick Burg went through. Of course I would prefer to die of old age. Dale

that sounds like the correct name dale.... man that video is stuck in my head. they showed it in the school of infantry at camp pendleton- makes the grunts much meaner when going overseas.... it's a shame people aren't indoctrinated to fear and hate that kind of people here (it might shake up their liberal-safe-pink and purple world).

it's one thing to die quick, another to feel the foreboding and fear of death, worse to die slow. being tortured beyond the limits of tolerance and sanity, to be dishonored on video as a coward when finally broken, then killed slowly..... I think that's worse than what most serial killers do. soldiers get killed, sad but true. reporters getting abducted and abused happens too. but to be in tears like a coward with people knowing nothing but your personal weakness to remember you is beyond wrong. All those people involved in it need to be burnt to death. perhaps covered in pig-poop too. pig-poop and diesel. same for the ones in the us trying to start up terrorist schools and extremist cells.

i said it before and i will say it again... if'n i wasa running the show it would have been over long ago. terrorists that did not cooperate would be slowly lowered into a pit filled with hungry hogs; in front of the other terrorists. those that did cooperate would be get a fair military tribunal and the extent of their cooperation would be considered.

say what you want about them, but the nazi's knew how to run an occupation. and for that matter, if'n we had the same americans fighting this war that fought ww2, this would have been over with years ago. there was a day that americans knew how to win a war as well.

Winning a war takes real leadership starting with the president and a concrete set of underlaying causes that make people fear for the defense 0f thier life or homeland. Since we have weak leadership and faulty underlaying causes, these wars in the ME are most likely losers.

WW2 was differant. We were attacked and the world was under attack by organized forces of foriegn government determined to take over the world. Hitler and Japan posed a direct threat that people could understand. Muslim Terrorists are mostly lone wolfs that come together and organize based on ideological opposistion to western influence in thier country/region.

It does matter. It matters that the leadership tasked with doing the crushing of the opposition beleive in the cause. If they don't, they won't. Leadrship gets it energy to lead through the moral support of the people. The people in this country no longer beleive and they have good reason.

You don't defeat the enemy by making friends with them.

You have to set fear and terror in them to the point that they do not want to wake the sleeping big dog!
If that means leveling a city along with it's satanc mosques so be it.
If it was up to me I would close Gitmo today,,by taking all the scum muslims out and shooting them ,

Euphemistically at the BN Ops level we joke (grimly) how the mission of the Marine Infantry has changed from seeking out, closing with and destroying the enemy by fire and maneuver, to seeking out, closing with and paying off the enemy, with contracts and relief. We do know how to win, but that's all. What happens after we win is for someone else's area of expertise, and we're being forced to stick around and test ideas.

Of course our troops know how to win. If the collective we (Majority of Americans and politicians) wanted to win, all we would have to do is let the Pentagon run the war decision process it it entirety. All they would need to know is the end game. But because there is so much opposition to the war (becasue the underlaying premise is false) and politicians ultimatly pay the political price, the politics and politicians are running the Pentagon. It's as simple as that.

remember that troops life insurance is 400,000 per death (when I was in I had a second policy so it was actually closer to 480,000 for my mom) to shut up the families real quick, and it usually works. we already know the politicians get their hands on that "aid" money going overseas.

My mom was the contingent annuitant on her brothers (my uncle) insurance policy. He landed on WW2 Omaha beach and was badly injured there and died a few days later at a hospital in England. My mom still get's $17 a month from his life policy to this day. Back then the government could not afford to pay out all the policies in full, so they offered the monthly annuity payment that ran for 2 lives, my grandma them when she died my mom got the $17 per month.

if the governement would pay out force protection money for better gear and not put rediculous rules of engagement into the mix, there wouldn't be a need for huge hush money payments, or funerals. sadly that's not how the gov seems to think. it's probably cheaper to pay off the families and politicians than to keep the troops alive. I've always thought about asking Ike Skelton's people how that works out but can't think of a way to do it without ranting. I've been in his office a few times and usually sound like a nut so that one would probably go over the top. any ideas how to ask that question WITHOUT sending them into deferral of blame/denial immediately?

I would write him a very formal letter and itemize for him the gear the troops need. Make it short and to the point with a list of the gear they lack and that you want him to lobby for the needed legislation. The letter should be in the Problem, Solution, Benefit format. See if it works. I use to do this all the time to Joe Hoeffel when I lived in PA.

with the recession I'll have to shelve the gear idea. the roe is worth bringing up though, especially with iran crossing the iraq border just recently to grab an oil field. if the roe's remain constrictive then iran is gonna kill a lot of our men (maybe that's what the gov wants though, to get people supporting the war again, just like obama magically does now)?

maybe I can put up my concerns about iran/iraq, obama in general (I always ask that Ike forsake his party leader for the good of missouri- I never get a solid confirmation of that one!), and the roe's with iran escalating to a serious threat, all in the next letter. if I put it all together then I might be taken seriously, instead of getting a feel-good letter of bs???

same old problem started in korea the vietnam and so on. no objectives no clear mission...such as take city so and so and kill all in between. we never take and hold and proceed on. we take die getting it, retreat to some base and then retake and more die the second round and so on.

it is simple our politicians start getting in the way as well as the news reporters with their cameras. people can not bear to see war and just what happens to little johnny when he steps on a mine. the defeatist and pacifist as traitors used that little tool to great effect in vietnam. thats one of the main reasons americans do not like the idea of women on the battlefield that runs through our history we do not women in that to see that to harden them and or let them suffer the terrible wounds. we do not want our kids to see or experiance it. Compared to Europe and Asia americans are lucky in that respect other tha the revolution 1812 and the carnage of the civil war which no one now has personal memories. not like europe who has many around that lived through those horrors. if we do not step up with the will we are going to have many here and now see and experiance firsthand those horrors. so i want to kill them over there not here.

if we want to when we must totaly obliterate any that stand in our way or threaten us. we must crush them to capitulation. start at one end of wherever go to the other end and kill as many as are there. no mercy no relief. however we will not do it and so here we are fighting a war of insurgency with our soldiers playing cop stopping to get witnesses and gather evidence. trying to negotiate with the enemy by paying them off and building them a water well.

just think of what some of the greatest military leaders of the past would say to our approach today. how would they handle the situation? i bet they would be horrified that we have come to this point of mental weakness. some i would imagine would refuse to carry out such rediculous tactics and resign.

our politicans care too much as to how it is percieved in other places or how it looks more than they are concernd about doing the job and getting it over with.

Gitmo Prison is a good example probably the most secure prison in the world we have put in untold millions of dollars. and we are going to close it because of its image? are you kidding me. good lord what is the image behind some of the torture chambers used today in France where the most inhumane methods of death were used? The prisons Iraq? or look at the most infamous in Russia or Syria jesus. we are going to let some name calling and such childish crap make us to that? sounds like school kids arguing.

thats whats wrong our politicians are more concerned with what France thinks that taking care of business. sadly that PC donkey dung has even seeped into the military chains of command. if we do not wake up to the seriousness of threats we face and make our minds up to take care of those that threaten and kill us we will being fighting them in the streets of NY or some shopping mall in Omaha. then schools will see the slaughter by these animals it just a matter of time. So we need to push and push hard as we can to make it unbearable miserable to aid or abet our enemy and most importantly be our enemy. I know it will not be a pleasant sight nor a very enjoyable time for many innocents where something like that happens but I do know that is the quickest way to end the opposition. So take the cameras out and give the orders to those that are capable and let them do the job.
