Most people know what type rimfire they want, and that is what they buy. They are almost all so accurate and fun to shoot, they never want to get rid of it. They they seem to last forever.
I have a Remington Nylon 66 that I received when I was 10. I used it till I was grown. Let my first son use it as he grew up. Then passed it on to my second son, till he grew up. Now my Grandkids are shooting it. Undecided who I am leaving it to, but I am keeping it till I'm ready to check out.
