Springfield M1A availablilty
« on: October 08, 2009, 06:05:48 PM »
Hey all,
I ordered a M1A model 9222 some 7months ago and still no rifle.
Anybody had a similar experience regarding M1A's ?
The factory rep stated they were running 8-10 months behind.
On a rare occasions I have seen Socoms but thats it ....

Heck my S&W AR only took 4months last year.
The waiting thing is killiin' me....
Any comments on this would be appreciated. >:(

Where are you?

There are shops here in wyoming that stock them, if you want information you can just do a transfer to your local gun shop.

I'm gonna follow up with the dealer in a couple of weeks.
I have a $500 deposit I need to recover if there's no news.
Thanks

What model M1A did you get? I bought a standard and I suits me very well.

Originally,
I ordered a 9222 which was almost impossible to get .
After 9months the dealer called me stating that one of his distributors
called informing him of a stainless rifle that just arrived (made 12-02-09) and if I would be interested
in  a Synthetic / Stainless 9826 Loaded instead of the original one ordered.
I reviewed  it a told him to go ahead order it .
Glad its over ,
Here's some links on it.
Springfield M1A Loaded #MA9826 Stainless Syn Stock- after 9 months its finally here !!!
Almost like a new born but with out a college fund.

Very nice! I carry mine for the deer season and it works very well. Are you going to scope it? Give use a field report when you can and get a progressive press.  :D
