Pedersoli Missouri River Hawkin
« on: December 20, 2009, 05:03:30 PM »
I've been into modern in line muzzle loading for many years. I am thinking of going more traditional and was looking at the Pedersoli. I hear the gun is exellent workmanship and extremely accurate. Has anyone had any experiencee with this firearm?

I haven't come in contact with one, but looked it over on Peds website. Not sure how Traditional you are interested in, but the rate of twist shown is not gonna be real good fer round ball shootin...to fast at 1-24" unless yer usin really light loads under RBs.

Cuts, you are right,  I didn't notice the rate of twist. Seems to be no different than any inline.

I found a T/C Hawken, sold the barrel on Ebay, bought a Green Mountain replacement barrel, sold the trigger on Ebay, bought a Davis replacement trigger.   I have a good rifle at a good price.  The original rifle was good, but this one shoots roundballs and has a better trigger.
