Anyone here use the Griffon Wire Haired for bird hunting? What's their disposision like? Any good for pointing or retreiving?

I don't own one but I've seen a lot of them in NAVHDA. Some of them I would have been very happy to own. They point fine, they retrieve well. They have a very nice disposition. They are more mellow than my German Wirehaired pointers. Generally they are a closer working dog than a shorthair or wirehaired pointer. Their disposition is similar to a friendly lab.
