Bushnell Trophy or Vortex Crossfire for Slug gun?

I have a HR ultra light slug gun and was looking at the Bushnell Trophy 1.75-4x32 Circle ret. and the Vortex Crossfire 1.5-4x32. Has anyone seen both of these and have any thoughts?

The Trophy will require high or extra high rings without hammer modifications due to the size of the power ring and ocular bell, I don't have a Vortex, but it appears to have the same issue. 

I suggest the Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 shotgun scope as an alternative.

I was hoping to mount it with the hammer tucked just in front of the Ocular Focus Housing. Have you ever mounted one to the HR guns? I was going to use a "hammer spur" that would allow me to get at it from the side.
