cummins91,
I bought my 10-22-T, a few years ago when these rifles were still offered with the original stainless barrels. So far I have not added any aftermarket products to my rifle. But this rifle shoots very well using the standard CCI 22 LR. But it seems to shoot the Wolf Match even better. If the rifle you are looking at for $315.00 has the original stainless or the original Blued version, That would be a great price. But I think even if it is one of the newer models, it is still a good price....Ray

thanks for reply. '09 rifle, great feel, iron looks like i could peel that latex paint right off the barrel tho. stepping back and looking around for an '06-07, as they had real finish on the barrels. thanks

Cummins91, Alot of folks like the older models of all the Ruger 10-22's. I guess there is an argument can be made for the new or older rifles. Personaly I don't like the finish that they are using on the new 10-22's. I have read that some guys that have the new rifles, after shooting them, theywill take them down to clean, only to find out that the paint or whatever they use has/is coming off the inside of the receiver. This causes the rifles to jam and missfire. I have also read that some guys when they buy these rifles, the first thing they do is strip the inside of the receiver. I don't know about you, but I don't want a rifle that the first thing I do is strip the paint. On Gun-Brokers the older 10-22Target rifle do come up. Whatever you decide I wish you good luck.......Ray
