Big Wheels Rollin!

Well the temps are supposed to be in the 40's tomorrow and I am taking the cover off our the touring bike. The wife and I are going down South for a visit and roll up a few miles on her bike...Yamaha Venture Royale.
It might be a little chilly starting off but we warm up fast once on the road. We don't catch much wind behind that frontend.

How many others are still going on the weekend rides before the winter white flakes fall? We dodge the bullet the other day and just got those 8 degree morning temps.........Burrrrrr man it was frosty on the ears left me tell yeah.  ;D

It was in the upper 30's here yesterday,and I almost took the Road Glide out on a 80 mile ride. But I was to lazy to put the lower's on,and it looked like it could rain.I sure miss my old Venture Royal,and the Gold Wings in cold weather.  Digger

Digger we got the big Yamaha out yesterday and the ride was nice with the sun shinning too! Then we came back to the house, feed the dogs and birds, cleaned kennels and took the truck down to the gunstore to fetch my new play toy home. I purchased a Savage 17rimfire for those little critters that are taking over the backyard and my pigeon lofts. I got more squirrels, fox, racoons than you can shake a stick at. ;D

Arctic front coming in for Christmas eve has the temps up in the low 60's today and tomorrow so guess who's riding to work. I left this morning 31degrees, rode to lunch 59 degrees and home it was 61 degrees. Can't put it up yet and hoping for a New Years day ride 8).

I rode today also,took the Road Glide on a 80 mile ride.The temp.gauge said about 40 degrees when I left and about 55 when I got back. Sure was nice.   Digger
