Henry 30-30 peep?
« on: May 29, 2009, 07:36:14 AM »
Since the Henry 30-30 (walnut/blue) is different than the other big boy rifles because it's drilled and tapped, does anyone know if there is a peep that will work on it? I don't have a marlin 336 to measure, but it looks like it's been drill just like the 336, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what will work on it, if anything?

I'm not sure exactly what would or wouldn't work, but I bet my bottom dollar Tim Skinner (www.skinnersights.com) could probably whip up something that would fit, and I bet the price wouldn't be too shabby either. Might be worth looking into at any rate.

Kind Regards,

Tim makes these to replace the 3/8" oem sight on any rifle. He will make the apature any size you want or his standard size is .096 and when removed, it makes a great ghost ring. This is a very well made sight.
