The TSA is a rice-bowl kind of organization, where you get in by whom you know, and then preserve your little kingdom. She seems about right for leadership there.
That said, I have no first-hand experience with her; that she's been appointed by Obama is no reason for her to resign (plenty for some, I realize). And that somebody got on a plane and tried to blow it up, is no reason for her to resign, considering the standards of her employer. Did she implement whatever steps failed to catch the guy? Did she?
