Do you have a barrel or one on the way? Try www.mountainmolds.com for a bullet mold. Mine drops 420 grain bullets with a large flat nose. I'm waiting on a barrel and am still undecided on a scope. The mold was a custom one that I designed using the program on the above website. Took almost a week to get.

T/C makes an excellent all rubber grip for the Encore - I use it on all my frames regardless of what caliber barrel is attached.  I pitched the early production black synthetic grips that came with my stainless frames.  If you've got the synthetic grip (sounds like you might) try the newer T/C all rubber one.

I'm putting a Leupold 2x on my 500 S&W barrel.  If you're using the T'SOB mount you can secure it with 4 rings whereas on the Burris 2x you can only use 3.  Leupolds are also lighter than the equivalent Burris model.
