« on: December 31, 2009, 08:18:11 AM »
Over thanksgiving I posted a thanks for all the help y'all gave me getting my first deer.

Well, as things would have it, I got to take my youngest son and he got his first deer and made my deer look like a weenie.

8pt at 100 yds.  .270 Federal powershok 150gr.  Stevens 200 (Christmas present) w/ Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40

Thanks again all

he's gotta be happy - I would be!
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Woo Hoo!  Congratulations!  To you both!!

We're not seeing ANY DEER.  Have not seen any for a MONTH.  Have been on stand with hunting partners over 34 MAN DAYS since Nov. 27th (cumulative on-stand hours divided by 8-hour day).

Nothing, Nada. Zip.

Glad you two got yours and possibly have time for more!  We will continue looking and hope conditions for us change.
