Charlie, I have even noticed before they stepped up production that Cabelas seems to keep more of the C&Bs in stock too. No waiting, usually. These days thanks to cowboy action shooting no doubt, it seems that production is a lot higher now. I was just reading an article today by Iron Duke ( Mike Venturino ) in Shooting times. He said that a lot of the BP stuff is in current demand now and that would be due to cowboy action. He was mentioning the cartridges of 32-20, 38-40, 44-40. They were all but extinct until the manufacturers saw the demand and resurrected them.
Flint, yes Johnny Mack Brown. He and I think it was grandson were there at the range during the week when I ventured out to make sure I could find the range on a morning that I might be half asleep and needing to send some lead down range, while visiting down that way. It will be soon I hope. I would love to shoot with you folks. Johnny Mack Brown was another really nice pard to meet. Seems like everytime I meet someone new in CAS, it is another one I want to know more and have some fun shooting with. I can not believe how many of the Coto Cowboys I have come to know and have fun with when they come up this way. Funny how that is, huh? Let's face it, cowboy shooters are the best and there is no two ways about it.
