Boyd Laminated Stock for Contender
« on: January 06, 2010, 12:37:05 PM »
I have a Boyd Laminated stock (nutwood) for a Contender Carbine I bought about 10 years ago. How much is it worth? I saw one for sale about 6 months ago and they were asking $250 for it which I thought was outrageous since that's about 3 times what I paid for mine (10 years ago). Have they gone up that much?

I guess the old saying applies, that something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it.

Is it only the buttstock, or do you have the matching fore end? Which stock profile is it, thumbhole, rollover,...?
