Does anyone know what the operating pressure [cup] of Wolf 7.62 x 39 ammo is ? Thanks.

It will vary from rifle to rifle depending on chamber size, freebore, etc. The SAAMI max for the cartridge is 45,000 CUP.  The C.I.P. standard [used in international markets] is 355 MPa which translates to roughly 51,400 psi. The Wolf ammo I have shot seems to be fairly mild -- no flattened primers -- but it's steel cased so other traditional indicators of high pressure don't work on it such as measuring case head expansion. You can often handload it to higher velocities than you get from Wolf ammo by 100 fps or so and that would indicate Wolf ammo is generally loaded to moderate levels. Wolf ammo is so darned dirty though that when you touch one off you almost feel as if the pressure is blowing debris all over the place.  ;D
