Dan Wesson/High Standard 357

I got to finger a High Standard 357 this weekend that is so DW 15-2 that I had to ask if anyone knows any of the history between the two companies. I seem to have read  that karl worked there also and that is also where some of the first guns were made for DW before wessom and karl really got roll'n on there own.

Check out the danwessonforums.com, they'll have some answers for you.  I do know that DW did make some of the early High Standards or vice versa.  I had a friend several years ago that had a HS and his barrel would interchange with my DW, the point of aim was off, but they did fit and shoot.
