Have you seen the Medusa 47 revolver? It has a special chamber that allows it to take 25+ different kinds of ammunition. It'll hold both rimmed and rimless cartridges and shoots both kinds pretty accurately. I wonder if it would be possible to machine a 357 mag Handi barrel to allow the same kind of versatility?

Already done that, not with a .38 but with an interchangable 307/308 Winchester.  Same would apply to the pistol cartridges, hold it in place with one of the wide ejectors modified to drop down when you load a rimless round.  Larry
