william FP sight for a P-14

i see they have one for a P14/17 but does it require drilling? thanks

In fact, IIRC the issue sight "ears' will have to be ground off the receiver bridge, for the peep to fit (it's a side mount).   :(

Williams recommends that the bridge be ground to the same contour as the front receiver ring.

The Williams peeps ( both FP & 5D) attach to the RH side of the receiver bridge, just ahead of the closed bolt handle.

thanks ranger. i was hoping i could leave the reciever as original. think i'll just try to find one of the original sights
