« on: May 23, 2010, 04:47:19 PM »
hello!-new to the forums.just wanna say this site is awesome and what a wealth of info.  thanks for any answers in advanced . has anyone had problems with the new ultra light slug hunters. i special ordered one from gander mountain in 12 guage but the scope base was welded on crooked. they had another in the store with the same issue.i decided to cancel the order and didnt want to order another for fear if the same issue . maybe a bad batch of these guns?. also this barrel said tracker ii on it. i already have a tracker ii barrel in 20 guage with sights. anyone know a good place to maybe have a base tapped.

The 20ga has enough meat on it that any competant gun smith can drill & tap one for a scope base. I had my 20ga Tracker II done and it clover leafs at 65 yards. So in my part of N.Y. I'm confidant out to 100 yards, and thats a pretty long shot here.
