Old Men
« on: January 11, 2010, 11:36:50 AM »
I was helping some well drillers on my well last winter.  At lunch time a one of the guys, about my age,  started telling about his trip to a local cafe with some guys the night before.

He started out by saying he was happily married and would never think of cheating but last night this cute little waitress started smiling at him every time she went by his table.  He said he started thinking he still had "IT". (Whatever "IT" is)  She was really giving him the eye and he started wondering if his hair was combed right.  Then she gave him a wink or two.  He was really getting into this.  She was really good looking and was looking at him.

Then his waitress brought the bill to his table.  He fished out his wallet when the cute waitress came up to his table and sat down right next to him and touched his arm.  She was beaming at him and he was smiling at her.  Then she said, "You remind me sooo much of my dad!"

I guess the moral of the story is:  If you are old enough to be her dad, and she likes you, you proably don't still have "IT"!

I have been asked if my wife was my daughter. She is nine years younger than me but that hurt. She likes it when something like that gets said or when someone at a resturant automatically gives me a senior citizen discount. I'll be 57 next month. I reckon this white beard and salt and pepper hair kinda helps too.

I tell my wife I'am 29 and holding. She said I can be 29 for as long as I want, but if she catches me holding, there aint gonna be no 30.   :o.
9 yrs ago when my daughter was expecting her first one, we went out to dinner (just her and I), her hands were both swollen so she coundent wear her wedding rings. An older couple sitting across from us kept stareing. The gal was stareing at us in contempt and the old man was stareing at me with a smile. As soon as I spoted what was going on I told my daughter and we began to play it to the hilt. Daughter was due to dlv. in a couple weeks. Wife and son in law said they wished they could have been seated close by to watch the fun.

I have been asked if my wife was my daughter.

Just a couple months ago I had a medical emergency.
The doc in the er was telling my wife what was wrong.
Then he told her if "I was his father" :o  what he'd do. >:(
She loved that...... ::)
