45/410 on older frame
« on: January 14, 2010, 11:44:13 AM »
I have a 45/410 barrel that I got off here on a NE serial frame, according to facts this frame made in 1990.  Is this going to be a problem shooting the 45 Colt ammo?

No, even +P loads won't be an issue, they'll fit 44mag barrels to both SB1 and SB2 frames made then, it has a higher pressure than Colt loads, and the freebore in that barrel will reduce pressure considerable.
