Another wrinkle question
« on: October 30, 2003, 02:08:01 PM »
I have noticed a wrinkle lately, but not when seating the bullet.  I get a slight crease about 1/2 way down the neck when I decap and resize( neck ).  I have never had this happen before.  I am using RCBS dies.  It is happening with my 308 and 30-06. I have about a nickles worth of space between my shell holder and the bottom of the die and am lubing the cases (although not the inside of the neck as I have never done it before and it was find). The necks also look like there is a very slight bulge between the crease and the shoulder.  Any ideas??

Nevermind, I figured it out.  The brass was not going into the die far enough.
