Do people polish ML bores?

With H&R Handis, folks like JB Bore paste or Flitz to "break in" the barrel.

I usually do...Flitz SS polish, only 20-30 strokes.  Be careful not to use to much, especially w/button rifling.

I think JB is more popular and somewhat safer. I have done my Omega Stainless as it was pretty rough and tight as received. 200 passes up and 200 down with JB changing after each 50 passes to new patch and new paste. I put the patch over a bore brush. Still pretty tight bore but a lot smoother.

i use j-b bore paste on all my muzzleloaders,i find i can load a bigger sabot with the same resistance as before and gain a little accuracy
