Moving is no fun and I've done it far too many times in my life. Our last move brought us here on July 19, 1994. I will admit tho I'd like to make one more move in my life but don't see it happening. I figure I'll be here until I die. Still I would love to move to a place with enough land to be able to walk out my door and be hunting on my own land and to have so much land I can't see my neighbor's house or their night light while sitting out on my porch at night watching the stars.
For such a piece of land I would gladly move one more time.
With approximately two million acres of personal and ranch land, Ted Turner is the largest individual landholder in North America. Turner lands are innovatively managed and work to partner economic viability with ecological sustainability. All Turner ranches operate as working businesses, relying on bison and outfitting as principal enterprises. In addition, Turner ranches support many progressive environmental projects including water resource management, reforestation and the reintroduction of native species to the land.
Turner Enterprises also manages over 50,000 head of bison across the various Turner ranches.
