bought an encore in .25-06 with heavy barrel and synthetic.

i mounted a bushnell legend 2-7x32 on it and will be working up some loads.

will let you guys know how i do :)

Cool Christmas present to yourself. I kinda sorta did the same thing as I just ordered a 16 1/4 inch 7.62 x 39 barrel with a .311 bore for my Contender from MGM. Now I'm thinking of buying a big bore barrel to hog hunt with. Merry Christmas too.

traded a guy on here my synthetics for walnut stock and forend from Boyd's. VERY nice.

going to add a .204 barrel and a .308 sooner or later, to go with my .25-06 and i will be able to hunt anything i want with the rifle.

i do like having lots of rifles but it's nice to be able to use one i am familiar with.

i have loads worked up and i will let you all know as soon as i have shot some groups, maybe saturday.

great minds think alike i geuss!  i got everything for my christmas present gatherd up except the barrle...  gona be stainless and synthetic with limbsavor pad...barrel i think is gona be a 27in 30-06 from Mgm... o man I cant wait!

Well thats a fine how do ya do! Kinda takes the edge off my shopping early post dont it?

i think i am going to be at the range tomorrow. girlfriend's brother shoots a lot and i am teaching him to reload. we will be there working up a load.

will have info then hopefully. that soon enough for ya?  :-*
