LOL  A word to the wise...Flip was a Navy Seal

Actually, my uncle was a great help when I decided to trap seasonally fulltime. I needed more traps, and he gave me 4-5 doz #1 and #1.5 longsprings. My first longline for coon was aided by these traps with the chains reversed.

In the Lil Abner cartoon, Sadie Hawkins was the old maid.  Each spring their was a Sadie Hawkins race. If any old maid caught any batchlor, they got married.....

Newt haven't you ever heard of Lil Abner? In the spring, all the old maids would get a chance at a husband. The bachlors would line up on a race course, and if an old maid could catch him before he crossed the finish line- he had to marry her. This was named after Sadie Hawkins- the ultimate old maid in the strip.
