jpgreen I had a set on a savage 99f 300 with a weaver I believe it was a 1.5x4.5 something small like that loved it wish I had never let a friend of mine talk me out opf it. :D   JIM

Had one in Canada a few years ago.  It was riding in the back of a covered PU when we struck a beaver dug ditch crossing a dirt track.  The scope was knocked cockeyed.  Rifles in the same situation but with fix mounts, never moved...  Draw you own conclusions.  From the gunnut69
