Greta, my drahthaar, and I just got back from our first day of pheasant hunting here in Wyoming. I shot this limit of cockbirds but she did all the rest from finding to retrieving. She'a a great hunting companion and super on pheasants.  :wink:

:D Nice hunt photo.She looks like a good buddy. I just got my female drathaar puppy Saturday. Good hunting.

Beautiful dog!  Thanks for sharing the pic.  Pheasant season doesn't open for a few more weeks here but driving by my favorite spot yesterday I had to slow down to let 3 birds cross the road in front of me!  Looks promising this season.
