I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD SHOOT 38SPL & 357 MAGNUMS OUT OF A T/C 357 MAXIMUM?

I shoot them all the time for plinkers out of my Rugers and handie rifles. You can also shoot .360 Dan Wesson in it. 8)

But YOU cannot shoot a Max in a 38  ;D

The major problem is reduced accuracy from the long jump to the rifling or forcing cone and the resulting carbon ring at the mouth of the shorter rounds making it difficult to load the max round without a really thorough scrubbing.  It's better to load down the max round to the velocity of the 38 or 357.

clean barrel good or your max brass will stick in your t/c after 38/357 dont know if gass will etch ring burn into steel load max down if to hot just to be safe
kids that hunt and fish dont mug old Ladies
and drive a F150

I've had my 10" max in a Ransom rest and even with the jump it still just keeps shooting them in the same hole with .38 spl or .357 and if you clean your barrel regularly there's no problem with fowling buildup at the mouth of the case.  Try it ,you'll like it.
