1. Do you carry your rifle empty or do you have a round in the chamber?
2. Is there an internal safety with the hammer down on a loaded chamber?
3. What position do you carry your rifle in?

I carry it uncocked with a round in the chamber. The gun will not go off unless you cock it and pull the trigger. Yes there is an internal safety that will not allow it to fire unless the hammer is cocked and the trigger pulled.

Yeah I have a round in the chamber with the hammer down while hunting--------I carry it either over my shoulder or in my hand while walking.

Deer hunting with the rifle I carry one in the tube, hammer down and it in my hands.
Ground hog hunting its unloaded till I am ready to fire.
Deer hunting with the pistol its empty (wrist ammo carrier) and on my shoulder.
