While we're on the subject, does H&R make their any or all of their own stocks? If not who makes the BC stock and where does the line start to get one?

Boyd's makes the laminated thumbholes, the rest of the wood stocks including the BC are made in Ilion at H&R's new wood plant, you can call H&R CS and order the BC stock set, parts numbers includng both the short and long forends are in the FAQs on the retail parts page, prices have increased tho.  :-\

Thanks Tim,
Having not seen the BC stocks listed in the barrel accessory program listing, I had thought they weren't available. Of course it's just my opinion, but I think the BC stocks are by far their most beautiful.

There have been a couple sets sold recently in the H&R Classifieds, so check there often,  hit the notify button and get emails when ever there's a new post there.  ;)

Tim,
When I'm online I usually have more than one screen open and keep reloading the classified page. I did see them posted, but somehow I just kept missing out on those BC stocks. :'( As it sits now I'm going to have to sneak the new .45 Colt carbine past the warden.

;D I dont have that problem(for now) But if I did have to, I would take 2 gun cases out the front door and tell her I was heading for the range. 1 would have a gun in it, the other empty. When i came home with 2 cases and 2 guns she would think nothing of it ;)

I took a rifle out of the safe couple weeks ago. She eyeballed it for a couple minutes, picked it up and looked it over. Then asked when did you get this? Problem is she put the deposit on that gun for me while I was working. :D
