Hawke Scopes???
« on: January 27, 2010, 03:53:28 PM »
I've notice that eab (hope that's not a banned word/site) has some Hawke scopes on sale...   Anyone use any of these?  I've read some reviews on the upper end scopes on the sniper site and they got fairly favorable reviews.
I'm about sold on a Mueller for one of my Handi's, but thought I might get one of these to replace a p.o.s. tasco on my other rifle until "my personal stimulus/bailout package" takes effect..

i bought one of the 3 x 10 mil-dot scopes-i have not mounted i as yet-initial impression is that it is bright and clear with positive clicks-it is a large scope and fairly heavy-for 59.00 i might try another one-great service from EAB-i got it in 2 days!

Having been stupid enough to purchase a Hawke Nite-eye 3-10x44IR all I can say is good luck.

I will add that I no longer have the scope as it was a piece of garbage.

I have come to find out that heavy scopes do not necessarily equal well-built scopes.  At least with the extra weight you could use it for a hammer.

Optics are generally a "get what you paid for" purchase.
